What does and doesn't go in the Trello board

[edit | edit source]

At today’s meeting we discussed scope creep on the Trello board.

There’s a card with @mcscope’s name on it for coordinating the next mate purchase. I can definitely see how it’s fundraising related (it brings us revenue!) and also how it isn’t (has nothing to do with donations).

After much back and forth, what I proposed was a new step in our Trello protocol: If you add a card, it must belong in a column. If no relevant columns exist, you must ask the group if a new one should be created, or if the card belongs there at all.

We consensed almost immediately. As such, it is now fundraising guild protocol. Violators will be asked to share an embarrassing childhood story at the next fundraising guild meeting. Repeat violators will be required to listen to mine.
