Happy #ADA30!

[edit | edit source]

Zach

Hi everyone,

I just want to wish you all a happy 30th Anniversary of the ADA and Disability Pride month!!

Today, June 26th, 2020 marks the 30th Anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act- our most important and landmark civil rights protection law.

What’s more, the SF Mayor recently declared July to be Disability Pride month!

It’s a huge day of art and celebration for our community! Happy ADA30!

and if you haven’t already, check out Crip Camp on Netflix. It’s a Sundace festival award winning documentary on disability civil rights and has 100% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of this writing - it’s really good!
