Do Not Hack tags are a way that we coordinate to make allowances for projects in active building to remind in the space for a limited time.

Validity

[edit | edit source]

Do Not Hack tags cannot be valid if they do not contain a date (of expiry, < 2 weeks in the future), (name and) contact information.

Community Practice

[edit | edit source]

Do Not Hack requests to reserve some items and space from others claims to use them, but given how much demand there is to store a little bit more here and there, from so many people, anyone wishing to have their DNH request respected should ensure their project is tagged in an obviously excellent way, with contact information, name, and clear, fresh and recent date/expiry on the tag.

Tags that claim a day too far in the future are just as much a part of the problem as undated or overdue tags.

Follow-up

[edit | edit source]

We have space maintainers (#super-secret-guildof-space-mantainers ?) channel in the discord.

And expired or invalid DNH-tagged projects may be bounced into Limbolandia for a short time before going away.
