At Noisebridge's 3rd anniversary party, Moxie Merlinspike (Signal developer) proposed that we all bring $10 and decide during the party what to do with it. We voted for the idea of sending a Noisebridge envoy to Singapore Hackerspace and we picked someone by rock paper scissors tournament and sent them there and back to report on the Singaporean hacker community.
