How to print at old Noisebridge

The printer is located against the South wall under the black/red network rack, across from yellow column D. If you use the printer please donate a few bone$ as paper and especially toner aren't free. The USB cable is pretty reliable.

Printers

Google Chrome?

Go to Cloudprint.

Apple OS X or iOS?

Shared with AirPrint as Noisebridge-Brother-Printer, and should show up in the printer drop down list when you try to print something while on the wifi network here.

The printer is shared on the network at 10.20.0.25 as Noisebridge-Brother-Printer through all the usual channels, Brother Printer HL5470DW. Windows Drivers can be found through the internet. On Linux try “Generic PCL 6/PCL XL Printer - CUPS+Gutenprint” or download drivers from Brother. If the printer needs new toner, search for Brother TN720/TN750.

Wired Connection

Connect the USB cable to your computer. It should appear as an available printer.

In Ubuntu, go to Printers in the Main Menu (hit the Windows/Ubuntu key and search for Printers). Add the printer. The suggested generic drivers work fine out of the box.
