Wednesday Lounge Conversations
Here is the TL;DR version of what to expect from the Wednesday meeting:
The key principles for the Lounge conversations are:
- Natural conversational flow
- Choose your level of participation - lurking is welcome
- Drop in and out as you please
Pursuant to those principles, we will NOT be stopping for an agenda, or to catch people up on huge topics, or for formal (re)introductions. All three things interrupt the flow, and introductions, in particular, put people on the spot to say something coherent in what is supposed to be a casual environment.
Of course, feel free to bring up relevant things about yourself or your work as part of the conversation, or ask others who have spoken about their background as fits the discussion.
