Print over Wifi/Network[edit | edit source]The printer is shared on the network at 10.20.0.25 as Noisebridge-Brother-Printer through all the usual channels, Brother Printer HL5470DW. Windows Drivers can be found through the internet. On Linux try “Generic PCL 6/PCL XL Printer - CUPS+Gutenprint” or download drivers from Brother. If the printer needs new toner, search for Brother TN720/TN750. Wired Connection[edit | edit source]Connect the USB cable to your computer. It should appear as an available printer. In Ubuntu, go to Printers in the Main Menu (hit the Windows/Ubuntu key and search for Printers). Add the printer. The suggested generic drivers work fine out of the box. |
