"You can just opt out" is not helpful and not respectful.

They're offering us a grant, we can ask him for any amount, they might match GoFundMe, i wasn't sure how to respond to that offer. Do we accept corporate donations? They're offering straight up cash and even NB branded merch and even a SECTION AT BLICK for NOISEBRIDGE SEWING ITEMS
